The photographs were taken with the Canon Rebels set to long exposure mode and captured on average for about 4-5 seconds. The sequence of photos are then imported into Photoshop. They are cleaned up, aligned to eachother, cropped, and resized to the creators preferrence. Through Photoshop the image sequence can be created as a .gif file, but the limited color palette of 256 colors reduces the quality so most students import them into Flash as individual frames. The timing of each frame is set and lastly, they are optimized for the Internet as .swf files.
