Flash Basics


It's time to begin the main animation program used around the world. It's used to create small animated advertisements such as banners, full length cartoons, interactive website content, video games, videos, and the list continues. It's simply awesome, but you must understand the basics in order to be successful. You're required to know specific tools and techniques for the upcoming quiz. Use the HELP .pdf or watch a series of video tutorials to learn the information.


Your required reading are pages 10, 18, 91-96, 111-112, 126-131, and 134.

For your first Flash assignment explore the tools and experiment by creating an abstract design using the criteria below.

Your Flash design should contain the following criteria:
varied line thicknesses with gradients (131 & 134)
different colored filled objects (131)
an area of merged and moved drawing objects (96)
an area of stacked overlapping drawing objects (95)
a shape with a gradient (134)
Save to the Z:"FlashBasicsDesign" as a .fla
