Students begin this project on the second day of class with pencil and paper. They create a card with their name and a personal motto. They should include a pattern in the background and create emphasis on their name using contrast. They scan them, enhance in Photoshop, animate, and optimize for the web as .gif files. Students email them and use them as wallpaper on their mobile device or desktops.
Criteria
Animation of your name and a personal motto
Use 4 or more layers, 4 or more tweens, and 1 or more filters
Length should be between 20 – 50 frames and time between 3-12 seconds
Optimize as .gif to less than 1500 KBs and largest dimension is less than 800 pixels
