Create visual effects using After Effects. What is it?

You choose what your short message says. Make it meaningful & turn in as .mov. This three day assignment is an animated 3D After Effects activity. For this visual effects assignment you will be required to include at least three layers. One layer should be an animated background. It can be a simple "ramp" or something more complex for more points. Layer two should include your animated words of choice. Three should be an image or several animated images using the 3d feature.If needed learn the basics of After Effects by viewing this website and watching tutorials 1,2, and 3.

Click here to watch a tutorial that includes all three expectations. Watch some of the video and pause to create it. You may have to rewind it and pause several times throughout the assignment in order to actually get it done correctly. You can follow the tutorial step by step or create your own short video by using what you learned in the 3 basic videos above.
Use this site for the wall textures and for the paint splats.
