Congratulations on completing your first Indepedent Project!
It's now time to share, see other work from the classes, & get feedback from peers.

Visit the network, watch a few productions, and give your opinion to help the creator(s) finalize their best work before posting to their portfolios. Be sensitive in a constructive way please!
Follow these steps to give critiques and receive grades for them:

1. Visit the network and find a production that you want to give meaningful feedback on, not just the most recent post. It can be from any class. This is intended to help everyone improve their work, their observational skills, and communication of opinions, not hurt feelings.

2. Watch the whole production without distractions around you! Get headphones so you're not distracting others. Borrow headphones from teacher if needed. You know how long it may take to create a 2 sec title that's easily missed if the viewer is not focused so pay attention.

3. Think about what was well done and what could be improved. Think about the PRINCIPLES OF ANIMATION, ELEMENTS & PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN, creativity, effort, time, etc.....

4. Type a suggestion in a polite way that will benefit the creator in some way, not frustrate them.
Make sure your suggestion is possible for improvement soon & quickly.

5. Follow the suggestion with a compliment. The compliment should be the most important part.

6. OPEN WORD.

7. Take screenshots (CMD+SHIFT+4) of the webpage with your legible comment (not too small), production title, and a frame of the video so the teacher can identify it easily.

8. PASTE SCREENSHOTS into WORD doc.

9. Critique 3 or more productions on the network and submit the Word doc for the grade titling it, "last name, critiques" in the "Indepedent Project" & "Critiques" folder.

10. Add STARS & SHARE others work if you feel inclined.
