You've seen the Intros in films and videos on Youtube for years. Have you really paid attention to them? Probably not, but now it's time. You'll make a short Intro that you can use for years that will play before your animation productions.

Watch some examples and get a plan for your own. Pay close attention to different styles, motion, timing, arrangement of elements, information & overall success. You will create an Intro that represents you or your production company to use before your main animations.

  • Mr. Nourse will cover the basics of After Effects & Autodesk Maya.
  • You can use what is covered in class and/or additional online tutorials that you find.
  • You have 4 days.
  • Use any program or combinations such as Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, iStopMotion, Maya, etc...

Here's a playlist that will give you ideas. Let Mr. Nourse know if you can't access it b/c of the AISD network & he''ll log you in.

Many students love VIDEOCOPILOT TUTORIALS for great After Effects Intros.
